A rare table lamp with beautiful large Amethyst core, in the style of Willy Daro, manufactured in Belgium around 1970.
The lamp has a beautiful black with brass base, holding a beige fabric hood with a curved trapezium shape. The true eye-catcher is the huge amethyst stone in the center, held by brass armature. Amethyst is said to clear the mind and create calmness. It would also help with mental processing and organizing thoughts. Besides all this, it also has a beautiful deep purple color and adds very nicely to the decorative appearance of this luxurious lamp.
The lamp remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
