Bas van Pelt was a Dutch furniture and interior designer, born in 1900 in Dordrecht, Netherlands. In his days he designed a lot of very special pieces, a lot of original pieces now taken in the collection of several museums.
In 1931 he took over furniture shop “My Home Woninginrichting” in The Hague, Netherlands and turned it into a good running business in modern furniture and interior design. What seperated him from others was that he was not only a designer, but also an interior architect.
