Stunning “Airport” chair by Arne Jacobsen, manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark, circa 1960.
The chair has high quality chrome metal base and yellow or green fabric upholstery. It would make a great addition to any modern interior.
In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) was one of Denmark’s most influential 20th century architects and designers. Both his buildings and products, like his swan and egg chairs, combine modernist ideals with a Nordic love of naturalism.
