An eye-catching set of two Haagse School easy chairs, manufactured in the Netherlands around 1930.
Made of beautiful quality wood in a warm brown colour. The backrests are slightly darker then the rest of the frame, adding a nice contrast. The seats are upholstered in nice quality light beige fabric. It has a straight design that is typical for the Dutch “Haagse School” style which was the art style of The Hague in the Netherlands in the late 19th century. The low seats and relatively high armrests all add to their style and also comfortable seating experience!
This unique set remains in good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina!
