A very rare, stunning set of two lounge chairs designed by J.B. Meyer and manufactured by Kembo in the Netherlands around 1960.
The chairs have a beautiful chrome-plated metal base with a plexiglass support bar. as a unique touch. The seats are newly upholstered in high quality black leather. The seprate, rounded seats and backrests create a wonderful seating comfort and unique style. The armrests are molded seemlessly from the seats. All together this creates a comfortable set with a lovely modern style. A rare find of Dutch design!
The chair remains in very good vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, creating a wonderful vintage patina.
