l’Autopede was a unique company that specialized in the production of carousel cars. It started by coincidence, when Bertje Ceuninck -who worked at a fair-, bumped into Baeyens’ child that was playing in a tiny car made just for him by his father. Ceuninck asked who made the car, and a partnership was born! After some necessary pushing by Cueninck, Baeyens decided to work with him and the first l’Autopede carousel cars were born. Their cars excel is quality, craftsmanship and design. Nowadays they are much sought-after collectables.
