This iconic lounge chair, model “F444”, was designed by Pierre Paulin and manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1960.
A highly recognizable and much sought after design by Paulin! The structure is made of high quality chrome plated metal in a nicely curved shape, with a black metal support bar as a nice and sturdy detail. It is upholstered with thick quality bright cognac saddle leather “hanging” in the frame. This creates a beautiful appearance but also an exceptional seating comfort. The eye-catching design will definitely be a valuable upgrade to your decor!
The piece has the manufacturer’s label attached as shown in photos.
It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
