A unique bed, designed for the Museon / Omniversum museum in Den Haag, the Netherlands around 1920.
Made of high quality wood with a beautiful natural pattern and nerves. The piece is made with an impressive eye for detail and decorated with bat shaped ornaments at the top of the back board light as well as above the lights of the night stands. The deep brown colour of the wood gives the piece a very luxurious style. The night stands have marble tops that match it’s eye-catching style perfectly. It combines Haagse School with modernism and gothic style. The piece has two Auping mattress floors that are labeled, as shown in photos.
