A beautiful ceramic sculpture, “Mother with Child” (Moeder en Kind) by Frans Werner, manufactured by Goedewaagen in Gouda, the Netherlands in 1924.
This lovely piece is made of white ceramics into a beautiful shape, representing a mother with her child. The large version of this sculpture is placed at the Apollolaan in Amsterdam, a photo of which is also attached. This art piece is a very nice find from the early 20th century, a piece of history from the Netherlands that will be a valuable and elegant addition to the decor.
As shown in the photos, the piece is labeled and signed.
The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
