- Signs of wear and imperfections are part of the vintage character
- You are responsible for reviewing item descriptions and images carefully before purchasing

2. Condition & Inspection Responsibility
All customers are expected to:
- Carefully inspect the photos and written descriptions of each item
- Understand that vintage pieces are not new and may include visible signs of age
It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of an item’s condition prior to purchase.
3. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of vintage items, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
All sales are final.
Please purchase thoughtfully.
4. Damages & Transit Issues
We take great care in packaging all orders. In the rare event that your item arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the damage and the packaging
- Claims made after 24 hours cannot be accepted
We will assess the situation and may offer a partial or full refund or other resolution at our sole discretion.
5. Shipping
We ship from Wilnis, The Netherlands using trusted carriers.
Shipping times vary by destination and are estimates only.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct.
We are not responsible for:
- Delivery issues due to incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Delays caused by the carrier or customs
6. Taxes, Import Duties & VAT
Customers outside the Netherlands are responsible for any applicable import duties, VAT, or customs fees charged by their local authorities. These are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.
We operate under the margin scheme for secondhand goods (as per Dutch tax law).
This means:
- No VAT is charged on our items
- VAT is not deductible for business buyers
We do not issue VAT invoices.
7. Product Availability & Errors
We reserve the right to update, change, or remove products at any time without notice.
If a product is incorrectly priced or described, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including photographs, text, branding, and design—is the property of Galerie Gaudium. Use or reproduction without permission is not allowed.
9. Limitation of Liability
Galerie Gaudium is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use a purchased item.
Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
