A beautiful “Expo 67” chair designed by Christen Sørensen, manufactured by Ebena‑LaSalle in Canada in the 1960s.
A highly recognizable chair, made of high quality chrome plated metal with a plywooden shell which is upholstered in beautiful quality beige fabric. Designed for the world expo in Montreal in 1967, this unique piece remains relevant today! It stands on a swiveling crossbase. The most unique feature of this piece is the design of the shell, that is made of two parts leaving a very small gap in the middle. The ergonomic shape of the seat provides not only an elegant appeal but also an outstanding seating comfort.
The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
