A wonderful coffee table, model “Caori”, designed by Vico Magistretti and manufactured by Gavina in Italy around 1960.
This highly recognizable table is made of high quality black lacquered wood with aluminium top. A combination that gives the piece a very nice, modern appeal with a touch of elegance. The top includes a central compartment that reveals additional storage space, as well as drawers and doors at the sides for addition storage capacity. A very innovative design that will be not only a beautiful but also a practical addition to the decor. Italian design at it’s finest by one of the mid-century greatest designers!
The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
