Glass hanging lamp designed by Ercole Barovier, manufactured by Barovier in Italy around 1930.
This eye-catching piece is made of the highest quality clear and blurred Murano glass, combining to create an outstanding appearance! The clear glass in the arm reveals the structure of the metal arm, with a beautiful twist-shape that is nicely accented by the shape of the glass. It holds three light bulbs inside the blurred glass hood.
The same spiral pattern is repeated in the finishing of the ceiling rose and the reversed hood. This allows the light to diffuse very nicely when lit. All together this piece is clearly a high quality find of early mid-century Italian design! A rare find that will be a true eye-catcher in any decor.
It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina!
