An elegant, modern floor lamp designed by Ingo Maurer and manufactured by M-Design in Germany around 1960.

Made of high quality chrome plated tubular metal on a round foot and with a round joint. This joint allows flexibility and adjustability of the piece as shown in photos. It can also be adjusted by twisting the top part to reveal to aim the light source in different directions! All together this makes for a fantastic, modern and minimalist piece that is fitting for many different kinds of decors an situations.

The piece has a minimalist, chrome plated metal base on a flat food and round matching dimmer. The eye-catching feauture of this piece is the unique fiberglass shade, Designed to play with the features of light and shape and doing so very successfully! The rough finish of the shade, with jagged and fringed edges, creates an appealing contrast to the clean frame. This combines into a unique structure of this very rare piece! All together it makes a true statement piece for the interior, guarateed to draw the attention while also adding a nice (and dimmable) light to the decor. Adjustable in height from 200 to 250 cm. The piece is signed on the dimmer as shown in photos.
