A beautiful “Latonda” chair designed by Mario Botta, manufactured by Alias in Italy in the 1980s.

This highly recognizable chair is made of tubular red lacquered metal with a black lacquered perforated metal seat. The clean lines and strong contrast in both shapes and colours make this a typical piece of mid-century Italian design with a strong Memphis style appeal. Both sculptural and functional, the chair works equally well as a statement piece or practical seating in any living room or office.

The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
