A lovely lounge chair, designed by Miroslav Navratil and manufactured by Český Nábytek in the Czech Republic in 1959.
This iconic piece was designed for the famous Triennale di Milano exhibition in Italy. It is a beautiful, elegant piece of mid-century modern design. Made of a fiberglass shell held by nice wooden legs. The shell that creates the seat and back is newly upholstered in high quality grey fabric, fitting the design very well. The red coloured material of the base remains visible in the back, creating a nice contrast. This beautiful chair has an exceptional seating comfort thanks to the nice bent design of the seat!
It remains in very good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, and new high quality upholstery!
