An iconic pair of lounge chairs in eye-catching Czech design by Jindrich Halabala, manufactured by Up Zavody in the Czech Republic around 1950.
These chairs, model “H269”, have a beautiful art deco style. The light wooden curved armrests transition smoothly into the legs with a nice wavy shape. They are newly upholstered in high quality off-white velvet upholstery that is soft to the touch. From every angle these highly recognizable chairs will draw the attention. Their style is also very inviting, as they are indeed as comfortable as they appear. These chairs are among the most iconic peices from the Czech Republic and will be a fantastic addition to the interior!
Sold as a set – the price is for both chairs together.
They remain in very good, vintage condition with only minor wear to the frame consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Both chairs are newly upholstered!
