An outstanding “Ribbon” chair with matching foot stool designed by Pierre Paulin, manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands in the 1970s.
This is a very elegant and truly iconic set of mid-century design! The “Ribbon” chair is one of Paulin’s most beloved designs, and especially combined with a matching foot stool a truly rare find. Both have black wooden bases and are upholstered in deep blue Kvadrat fabric. A combination that adds to it’s luxurious appeal and makes it suitable for many different decors. The curved design offers a fantastic seating comfort as well. This set will definitely draw the attention in any interior, being a most valuable adddition to the decor!
The set remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
