An eye-catching floating sideboard designed by Wim Wilson and manufactured by Castelijn in the Netherlands around 1960.
This fantastic piece is made of white laminated wood with aluminium doors. This combination of materials creates a very elegant style that will smoothly fit in many different decors, adding a sense of luxury to the interior. It is wall mounted, which gives it the floating appearance and adds well to it’s minimalist style. The sliding doors open and close smoothly, revealing shelves and drawers as shown in the photos.
It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. It has a small chip to the lower corner against the wall, as shown in photos.
