A beautiful and very rare “LCII” wall lamp designed by Le Corbusier, made in France in 1954.
A fantastic find, this special lamp by Le Corbusier. Made of green painted metal with a beautiful patina, marks and wear perfectly fitting it’s industrial yet modern style. This model was also used in the Villa Sarabhai in Ahmedabad, India, as documented by the Le Corbusier Foundation. Its elegant form and subtle detailing make it both functional and visually striking, the light can be directed by moving the shade as shown in photos. A piece of design history that is guaranteed to draw the addition of any design enthusiast and will be a most valuable addition to any decor.
The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with wear and patina consistent with age and use, preserving an outstanding patina.
